No. 2 UNC Women Earn Top Seed In New Orleans Region

No. 2 North Carolina earned a No. 1 seed for the fourth consecutive season and the fifth time in school history when the field for the 2008 NCAA Women's Basketball Championship was announced by the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Committee Monday night. The Tar Heels will open play in Norfolk, Va., on Sunday, March 23 at noon against 16th-seeded Bucknell, the champion of the Patriot League.
