Middlesex Coach Jamie Gallagher on Rod Odom
Posted Aug 12, 2009
He's as good a student as he is a basketball player, so Rod Odom has plenty of options. A year ago, he was a 6-4 and opening some eyes as a junior-to-be at the Middlesex School in Concord, Mass. Ivy League was always the goal and Princeton, Penn or Columbia seemed the likely destinations. But Odom has since grown four inches, put on 25 pounds, his versatile skill set has developed and expanded and now the 6-8 forward is a highly sought-after recruit among programs of the highest level.
