Terrence Jones' stature as a top basketball recruit is on the rise
Posted Aug 10, 2009
Terrence Jones is inscrutable. The versatile 6-foot-9 Jefferson High School basketball star has done a lot of listening as college coaches nationwide pitch their programs to him. It's his poker face they can't read. And so they often turn to his coach, Pat Strickland, to find out which way Jones may be leaning. "A lot of coaches are calling and saying, 'Well, is he interested?'" Strickland said. "And I tell them, 'He's interested, he's just not very talkative.'"
