Josh Smith may decide soon
Posted Jul 23, 2009
An observer at the Peach Jam tournament last week thought Josh Smith looked lethargic there, but he came with a doctor's excuse: Smith reportedly had a late-June tonsillectomy that caused him to miss the first full week of the July period, so he's still working back into form.
Smith is the top big-man target on the West Coast, the key target for both UCLA and Washington. Scout.com's Greg Hicks writes there are a half-dozen others involved, and that Smith is weary of the recruiting process and hoping to make a decision soon.
