Life of Brian Goodwin

His name will come out the mouths of many throughout the day, but the first person to call Brian Goodwin’s name on most mornings is his mother. Brenda Goodwin serves as her son’s alarm clock just after 7 a.m. on school days. His father, Sylvester, is already out of the door and on his way to work in Durham, and the Rocky Mount High senior is trying to muster the energy to pull his head up from a pillow and begin what will be a busy day.
