Seth Williams happy with his pro start
Posted Jun 14, 2009
Last week, Seth Williams' internal alarm clock was telling him to board a plane bound for Omaha, Neb. That's where he spent this time of year the past three summers competing at the College World Series as a member of the UNC Tar Heels, but his current employer would likely frown upon such a road trip. Now a member of the New York Mets' High-A affiliate in St. Lucie, Fla., Williams can only visit the Midwest in his mind.
