22 from Carolinas in all-American game


The prestigious U.S. Army all-American game, which features top prep seniors from around the country, announced its 400 nominees for the Jan. 9 contest, to be played in San Antonio's Alamodome. And the Carolinas could be well-represented. A total of 14 N.C. players were nominated, and eight were selected from South Carolina. The N.C. and S.C. nominees follow, with their ranking in The Observer's Top 25 N.C. and S.C. prospects listed in parentheses: (Charlotte Observer)
