UNC gets a coveted offensive lineman
Posted Apr 24, 2009
North Carolina has started its 2010 football recruiting year by landing one of the top offensive linemen in the country. James Hurst, a 6-6, 284-pound junior at Indianapolis' Plainfield High School, committed to North Carolina yesterday from a group of three final choices that included Florida and Georgia.
Although North Carolina doesn't have a football tradition to match Florida's or Georgia's, Hurst said that he didn't hesitate when making his decision after visiting all three schools.
