On Thursday, North Carolina coach Roy Williams asked Ty Lawson how he felt on a scale of 1-10. Lawson told him six. But after spending Thursday night and Friday morning with his foot in the pool [to treat his toe injury], Lawson came out and scored 17 of his 19 points in the first half, setting the tone early and leading the Tar Heels (31-4) into Sunday’s South Regional final against second-seeded Oklahoma (30-5).
