Michael Gbinije (No. 15), 6-6 WF/WG, Christchurch (VA) School: This rangy, 185-pound swingman didn’t play exceptionally when we watched him last summer, but he’s had a big season and recently led Christchurch to the title of the Virginia Prep League tournament. In the semifinals, he had 20 points and 14 rebounds against Fork Union Military Academy, and in the championship game versus Charlottesville St. Anne’s-Belfield he erupted for 29 points to pace the victory.
