St. Patrick, No. 1 in the Star-Ledger Top 20, beat No. 2 Paterson Catholic, 79-54, Tuesday night to claim the NJSIAA North Jersey Non-Public B championship Tuesday night at Rutgers. Dexter Strickland scored 18 points and fellow senior Paris Bennett added 17 to lead St. Patrick. The Elizabeth school will face No. 4 Trenton Catholic for the Non-Public B state title Saturday at 4 p.m. in Toms River.
