North Carolina, Duke women look forward to NCAAs

Though they exited the ACC Tournament in Greensboro disappointed and misty-eyed, both North Carolina and Duke are optimistic about the rest of the season. Neither team, combined winners of the previous nine tournament championships, could hold off Maryland's run to the 2009 title. The top-seeded Terrapins overcame improbable runs by both teams and secured their program's first tournament title in 20 years. (Raleigh News & Observer)
