Small forward Travis McKie gaining interest from UNC

Travis McKie grew up a Tar Heel fan, but has yet to receive an offer from despite growing interest from UNC.

McKie, a 6-foot-6 4-star small forward from Richmond, VA, who's averaging 22 points and 10 rebounds per game, is not waiting around for the Tar Heels' offer, however. He currently holds scholarship offers from ACC schools Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, Clemson, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Boston College, and will likely wait until this summer before choosing his destination.

ESPN.com recently downgraded McKie's ranking from the #26 ranked prospect in the class of 2010 to #52, but UNC's interest is on the rise having recently sent an assistant coach to watch him play.

Keep an eye out for new developments as we move closer to Summer.
