Heels top Cavaliers for 1st ACC win

But for his fifth-ranked team to finally win a conference contest — 83-61 at Virginia on Thursday — he went back to his comfort zone: the foul line. After airballing his first jump shot at John Paul Jones Arena, the All-American senior scored 15 of his game-high 28 points on free throws. His 17 attempts from the foul line were a season high.
