Rob Wooten Day In Fremont

Former North Carolina relief ace was honored in his hometown of Fremont Sunday, as it was proclaimed Day. Wooten, who played a key role on three College World Series squads for the Tar Heels, was a 13th-round pick of the Milwaukee Brewers and had a fine first season in professional ball last summer. Wooten was recently mentioned by Baseball America as one of the Brewers' prospects that was "closest to the majors." (Tar Heel Blue)
