Marcus Ginyard returns as Tar Heels add to record-breaking ways

North Carolina added another weapon to its arsenal and another record to its résumé. Marcus Ginyard, working back from October foot surgery, appeared in his first game of the season as the Tar Heels cruised past Rutgers 97-75 on Sunday night. It marked UNC's 12th consecutive victory by double digits, a milestone that eclipsed the previous school record of 11 straight double-figure wins held by the 1992-93 team, which won the national championship.
