Brooks Haggerty, Brian Shriver Named Progress Energy Performers Of The Week

Brian Shriver scored the game-winner against No. 1 ranked Wake Forest and Brooks Haggerty stopped 11 saves in two games in the NCAA Men's Soccer College Cup and are the Progress Energy Tar Heel Performers of the Week for December 8-14, 2008. Haggerty, a junior from Cary, made a career-best seven saves - several of the spectacular variety - as the Tar Heels shut out Wake Forest, the nation's top offense, 1-0.
