There were days when UNC women's soccer coach Anson Dorrance struggled to start practice amid the raucous chatter among his players. That joyous spirit permeated everything the Tar Heels did this season and was one of the main factors players and coaches pointed to in explaining their spectacular season and 2-1 come-from-behind victory over No. 1-ranked Notre Dame on Sunday in the final of the NCAA Women's College Cup.
