Sylvia Hatchell: 'We are getting better'
Posted Nov 25, 2008
With an 80-79 victory over then No. 2-ranked Oklahoma, North Carolina coach Sylvia Hatchell said her team took away one essential notion from Norman, Okla.: "We can play with anybody." Hatchell's Tar Heels improved to 5-0 by knocking off the Sooners on Sunday and have now climbed to No. 2 in The Associated Press top 25 poll. "We're getting better," said Hatchell, whose team was outrebounded, 46-44.
