Syracuse’s hot shooting, UNC’s worst defense of season doom Tar Heels

North Carolina's defense, a cornerstone of a 10-game win streak earlier this season, continues to regress, and the Tar Heels paid for it at Syracuse. Red-hot shooting from the Orange had a lot to do with it. UNC couldn’t overcome committing three turnovers in the last 90 seconds, as Syracuse shot 62.5% on its way to an 86-77 upset of UNC on Tuesday. (Tar Heel Tribune)
