Brad Daugherty becomes first Black owner to win Daytona 500

Brad Daugherty made history on Sunday off of the basketball court. Daugherty became the first Black owner to win a Daytona 500 when driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. took the checkered flag on Sunday. Stenhouse’s No. 47 car is the only one that JTG Daugherty Racing, the ownership group Daugherty is part of, owns in the NASCAR Cup Series. (Cleveland.com)
