UNC gets basketball commitment from Jordan's Justin Watts

North Carolina has received a basketball commitment from Justin Watts, a senior at Durham Jordan high school. Jordan coach Kim Annas said Carolina had been evaluating Watts all season and offered him a scholarship on Monday. Watts will announce his decision Thursday at a news conference at the school. Watts, 6 feet 5 and 200 pounds, averaged 24 points for Jordan this past season. Jordan had a 14-10 record. (WRAL.com)
