Nationals Grab Mike Daniel in Seventh Round of MLB Draft

North Carolina outfielder Mike Daniel was selected by the Washington Nationals in the seventh round with the 204th overall selection of the 2005 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft Tuesday. Daniel led the Tar Heels in 2005 with a .351 average and added three home runs, 10 doubles and 22 runs batted in. (Tar Heel Blue)
