Tar Heels Early Favorite For Indiana Center Gary McGhee

Saturday, July 09, 2005

The success of Bloomington, Indiana, native Sean May at North Carolina seems to have in-state talents looking outside of Indiana for a place to call home. For Anderson, Indiana, center Gary McGhee, May’s path is one he hopes to follow. “North Carolina is my favorite right now,” said McGhee, who plays at Anderson Highland H.S. “They have the prestige and they’re known for playing good basketball. I just wanted to be a Tar Heel my entire life.” (Hoosier Insider)
