Detroit Pistons' owner tires of feeding Larry Brown love and legal tender

is leaving town. Fired. Splitting. Cut loose. Let go. Bought out. Paid off. Came to an agreement. Pick your phrase. The Pistons will pay Brown about $6 million not to return as coach next season. Brown led the Pistons to the 2004 NBA title and took them to Game Seven of this year's Finals.
