Larry Brown is leaving town. Fired. Splitting. Cut loose. Let go. Bought out. Paid off. Came to an agreement. Pick your phrase. The Pistons will pay Brown about $6 million not to return as coach next season. Brown led the Pistons to the 2004 NBA title and took them to Game Seven of this year's Finals.
