UNC-Kentucky Basketball Series May Continue

Athletics officials at North Carolina and Kentucky have had preliminary discussions about continuing their series in men's basketball, North Carolina senior associate athletics director Larry Gallo said Thursday. The final game in the teams' current, six-year agreement will be Dec. 3 at Kentucky. Gallo said North Carolina coach Roy Williams and Kentucky coach Tubby Smith plan to discuss the future of the series.
