UNC begins practice looking at backups

Saturday, August 13, 2005

A search for backups at two key positions was the most urgent business for North Carolina as it began fall practice Friday. Redshirt freshman Joey Bozich and sophomore Roger Heinz are competing for the second-team quarterback position, and coach John Bunting is watching freshmen Richie Rich and James Arnold at tailback.
