'World's greatest alumni' serve up crowd pleaser

Monday, August 29, 2005

North Carolina coach Roy Williams, seated up in the corner of the Smith Center away from the spotlight, probably wouldn't have approved of the lack of defense. But everything else about the fourth annual World's Greatest Alumni Game on Saturday night appeared to please the crowd, which nearly filled the lower arena seats and trickled into the upper decks. Raymond Felton wowed the crowd for the University of North Carolina alumni team with whirling drives and clever passes. (Charlotte Observer)
