Jackets' big victory does not deter Heels

A group of North Carolina football players met last Saturday at the rented townhouse of linebacker Tommy Richardson to enjoy a night off from practice, and to scout on its own for this week's season opener. Georgia Tech, North Carolina's opponent on Saturday in Atlanta, was playing Auburn on TV. The night grew more interesting for the North Carolina players as the game progressed. Georgia Tech was sharp, kept its composure in front of a crowd of 87,000, and won 23-14, Auburn's first loss in 16 games.
