Now that the Tar Heels are deeper and more athletic on defense, John Bunting has promised a more aggressive scheme. That will include some zone pressure, which Mahlon Carey said will give him "an opportunity to anticipate the ball more, read the quarterback and be free to make plays" at strong safety. North Carolina quarterback Matt Baker said practicing against a defense that has shown more blitzes has helped the Tar Heels better prepare for an equally aggressive Yellow Jackets defense.
