Astros rookie Kent Emanuel makes history with first 8 2/3-inning relief appearance since 1988

Houston Astros starter Jake Odorizzi exited the game Saturday after five pitches with forearm tightness, so the club was looking at a long afternoon for the bullpen. However, rookie saved the day. Emanuel replaced Odorizzi and nearly tossed a complete game, throwing 8 2/3 innings. It is the longest relief appearance in Astros history. (CBS Sports)
