Levi Michael hangs up glove and bat for good after 8 seasons

Levi Michael has retired from pro baseball after eight seasons. The former North Davidson and UNC star who was the Minnesota Twins' first-round draft pick in 2011 made the announcement on his Facebook page. Michael had stated previously that he would play as long as someone gave him a uniform but with COVID altering baseball, that changed. (Lexington Dispatch)
