Heels paying special attention to special teams
Posted Sep 29, 2005
There was some spectacular, more shaky and hardly any solid. Such was last Saturday for North Carolina's special teams. The Tar Heels defeated N.C. State 31-24 at Carter-Finley Stadium despite a lackluster day in the kicking game. "We didn't play very well on special teams," UNC coach John Bunting said. "If you look at it, it could have cost us the football game. We have got to really work at that this week."
