Tar Heels Top Utes, 34-17

Coming off last week’s emotional victory over N.C. State, there were plenty of folks who felt that the Tar Heels may not bring the same intensity into this week’s non-conference clash. However, behind two touchdown passes from quarterback and five forced turnovers from the defense, the Tar Heels avenged last season’s 46-16 blowout in Salt Lake City while keeping their hopes alive of winning enough games to play in a second straight bowl.
