The numbers don't lie. Twenty-six losses in 27 years. Just five conference defeats in almost two decades of play. A staggering 18 national championships. Still, when the University of North Carolina women's soccer team failed to make the Final Four last year - for the first time in the program's history - the whispers could be heard.
