Cards Numb Tar Heels

And so the Tar Heels come to the open week on their 2005 schedule in an eerily similar spot as they were one year ago. They limped home last October after their Armageddon in Salt Lake City, licked their wounds, rounded up their pride, put blinders on to the naysayers in the peanut gallery and rebounded for the final month of the season. They won three of four, including nudging the Hurricanes and taking Virginia Tech to the last minute of the game. (Tar Heel Blue)
