Developing elite pitchers has become a tradition for North Carolina. Most recently, Andrew Miller, Daniel Bard, Luke Putkonen and Robert Woodard blossomed into premier pitchers. The same goes for sophomore right-hander Alex White and others this season. Fellow weekend starters Adam Warren and Matt Harvey have also had impressive campaigns.
