Tar Heels surprising favorite against Virginia

Those sneaky oddsmakers in Las Vegas must know something. How else do you explain why a North Carolina team coming off one of the worst defeats in school history is a one-point favorite over No. 23 Virginia, which is fresh off an upset of previously unbeaten Florida State? The Tar Heels have had 14 days to recover from the 69-14 mauling at the hands of Louisville. The 69 points were the most ever scored against a UNC team, surpassing the 66 points Virginia piled on the Tar Heels back in 1912. (Fayetteville Observer)
