Gibbons gaga over Heels' hoops class

Basketball recruiting guru Bob Gibbons initially thought no program could match Ohio State's 2006 class of 7-0 center Greg Oden, point guard Mike Conley, shooting guard Daequan Cook, small forward David Lighty and center Othello Hunter, a junior college transfer. He now believes UNC's class has passed the Buckeyes'. UNC did it despite missing out on fall target Spencer Hawes, a 6-11 center who chose Washington. (Raleigh News & Observer)
