UNC gets back in line

Monday, October 24, 2005

North Carolina coach Roy Williams finally won his national championship last season. And then he lost his team. There wasn't any time to bask in the glory for Williams, who made four trips to the Final Four at Kansas but finally won it all in his second season back at his alma mater. Sean May, Marvin Williams, Raymond Felton and Rashad McCants all left early for the NBA, leaving inexperience and uncertainty in Chapel Hill. (Tallahassee Democrat)
