Moonlighting: UNC basketball could get walk-on help from football
Posted Oct 24, 2005
Brooks Foster and Jesse Holley -- who have football scholarships -- told UNC basketball caoch Roy Williams in the spring they'd like to return to basketball after football season, "but I gave both of them an out that they could change their minds." Foster said last week he still plans to play for Williams but hasn't yet broached the subject with football coach John Bunting since before training camp. Nor has Holley, who is Bunting's leading receiver with 21 catches for 307 yards. They know Bunting doesn't like to talk hoops in October. When asked about it, Holley smiled and repeated three times: "No basketball questions right now."
