The numbers don’t begin to describe Chris Iannetta, who is one of the smartest, well-spoken and toughest players I’ve ever covered. When the Rockies were losing and the clubhouse was a ghost town, Iannetta was always available with an honest quote and clear analysis. His teammates respected him and his pitchers learned from him.
