John Bunting has chance to build
Posted Oct 29, 2005
While UNC fans have little reason to expect championships, they have every reason to expect the program to be competitive and go to bowl games. Bunting's future as the Heels' coach hinges on meeting those expectations. He saved his job a year ago with a 6-5 regular-season record that included wins over Miami and N.C. State. With two more wins this season -- home games against Maryland and Duke are the prime candidates -- he should be safe for another run in 2006.
