UNC will run despite thin roster
Posted Nov 1, 2005
I'll have to admit this: I asked a really dumb question when meeting Tuesday with Roy Williams. I asked whether the Tar Heels, with only nine scholarship players and four freshmen certain to be in the rotation, would continue to pursue a fastbreak attack. Of course Carolina will run. That is how a Roy Williams team plays. He wants the freshmen to become accustomed to playing that way so that when the program does have enough players — and, oh boy, that's coming — they'll know exactly how it works.
