Hawks' Rookie Marvin Williams Still Wide-Eyed
Posted Nov 2, 2005
Marvin Williams has much to learn as he enters his first NBA season. Lesson No. 1: Don't tease the head coach. That's what Atlanta Hawks coach Mike Woodson says the 19-year-old Williams did by posting a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds in the Hawks' final preseason game against New Orleans Friday night. "He can't tease me like he did the other night, getting 13 rebounds," Woodson said Monday. "I'll expect him to do that once he does it a few times."
