BC in Tar Heel country
Posted Nov 5, 2005
The Boston College football team has not traveled to Chapel Hill to play North Carolina since 1981, but most of the Eagles already know what it's like to play the Tar Heels on the road. And the results were fine with them. The Eagles played the Tar Heels in the Continental Tire Bowl last year in Charlotte, beating UNC, 37-24. It is hard to believe that there could be more Carolina blue on the Chapel Hill campus today at Kenan Stadium than there was last year at Bank of America Stadium, which may be a comfort to the Eagles.
