Maryland will not be a breather

UNC's defense has been outstanding this year. The transformation from the last three seasons has been nothing short of miraculous. For goodness sakes, Carolina won a game 7-5 this year, against a team that burned the Tar Heels for more than 50 points in 2004. Nevertheless, Maryland coach Ralph Friedgen is not an average bear. The Terps are third in the league in passing offense with 237 yards per game, and they have averaged 25.9 points per game compared to 17.6 for UNC.
