What Texas retaining Shaka Smart means for five-star Greg Brown

Recruiting in the 2020 cycle for Shaka Smart and Texas has been slow for two reasons. One is that the Longhorns only have one scholarship to give and didn’t have any seniors on the 2019-20 squad. The other reason is the recruitment of five-star forward Greg Brown III, the Austin Vandegrift product Texas knew it would have to play the long game with in order to land.
