Tar Heels sing third-quarter blues
Posted Nov 28, 2005
Virginia Tech dominated UNC in the third quarter of their game Saturday night, outgaining the Tar Heels 116 yards to 27 yards and outscoring them 21-0 en route to a 30-3 victory at Lane Stadium. "Unfortunately, like has happened several times this year, in the third quarter, we just don't get started very well," said UNC coach John Bunting. "I wish I had an explanation for that. I just don't know. It's very, very frustrating to me, the staff and players alike. I can't put a finger on it. I don't know."
