Tar Heels sing third-quarter blues

Virginia Tech dominated UNC in the third quarter of their game Saturday night, outgaining the Tar Heels 116 yards to 27 yards and outscoring them 21-0 en route to a 30-3 victory at Lane Stadium. "Unfortunately, like has happened several times this year, in the third quarter, we just don't get started very well," said UNC coach . "I wish I had an explanation for that. I just don't know. It's very, very frustrating to me, the staff and players alike. I can't put a finger on it. I don't know." (Durham Herald-Sun)
