Danny Talbott was noted for his sense of humor and is one of the most revered athletes in Tar Heel history, having played football, baseball, and freshman basketball during his time in Chapel Hill from 1963 to 1967. Over the years, when books have been written about sports at North Carolina, Danny Talbott is included as an important part of that history.
